NEA Clinical Trials
An animated guide to clinical trials.
Animating the questions that surround clinical trials.
I worked with the National Eczema Association (NEA) to produce an animation addressing the most common questions from clinical trial participants. The NEA provided a script and tasked me with creating the illustration style. I needed to create a style that was friendly and inviting, while still speaking to an adult audience.
Once the style was approved, I built out the rest of the storyboard. Diversity was important to NEA’s message; they wanted to reach a wide range of patients and caregivers. I worked with the NEA's Art Director to finalize the storyboard before moving into animation.
My favorite part of this animation is the Rube Goldberg machine that bookends the animation. I was given a lot of creative freedom on this project; I enjoyed being able to run with my ideas.
